Panattoni Park, Avonmouth will be the largest ever speculatively built warehouse in the UK, upon completion. Providing significant scale to the under-supplied national market, Panattoni Park, Avonmouth will total 1.3 million sq ft of space.

Targeting net zero for embodied carbon for the construction of the development along with roof-mounted solar panels, this project aligns with our own Planet Passionate initiatives and was a great project for the Kingspan Klargester team to support.

Last year our Kingspan Klargester team were asked to specify multiple bypass separators for the site. Bypass separators are a crucial component of any stormwater management system and are designed to capture and separate pollutants from the surface water runoff before it enters the drainage system. Our Kingspan Klargester Bypass Separators are designed to remove a wide range of pollutants, including sediment, debris, oil, and grease. Fully compliant and tested to EN 858-1, our range of Kingspan Klargester separators offer peace of mind to the site to help reduce the risk of flooding and prevent pollutants from entering rivers and other water bodies.

Kingspan Klargester bypass separators work by using a series of filters and chambers to capture and separate pollutants from the surface water runoff. The water enters the separator through an inlet pipe and is directed into a settling chamber, where larger particles and sediment settle to the bottom. The water then passes through a series of filters, which remove smaller particles and pollutants. The cleaned water is then discharged through an outlet pipe and into the drainage system.

Kingspan Klargester are delighted to have worked with G Works Construction & Surfacing Ltd and Hydrock Consultants Ltd on this project as it was an extremely technical specification with varying invert depths, pipe size requirements and alterations to layout. G Works Construction & Surfacing Ltd we have now completed the install and we look forward to seeing the final completion of the site in late summer 2023.
