Frequently Asked Questions

What is the actual dispensing flowrate?

The stated flowrate (72 lpm Pump 230v) is maximum across pump flow rate as defined by pump manufacturer. Actual flowrate will be less due to the restrictions caused by hose diameter and length, filter mesh size and condition, installed flowmeter, nozzle size, etc.

Where can I buy spare parts?

Spare parts can be purchased here.

How to prime a pump?

12V & 230V pumps are self priming pumps and should not require priming. However, if the pump fails to prime, take the nozzle off and run the main pump.

Rotary: rotate handle back one and a half to two turns and then forward to up to one mins. This can be repeated up to 3-4 times if needed.

If the above does not work – undo pump, hang the pump over the edge of the tank and rotate handle back one and a half to two turns and then forward to up to one mins. If the above does not solve the problem, please contact our customer service team.

Where does the power come from?

FuelMaster tanks can be supplied with a range of pumps which require external power supply. Different variants of pumps require different power supply - either mains connection or portable battery. For more information, please refer to the installation manual.

How do I install my FuelMaster?

FuelMaster must always be installed by a competent electrician and competent technician as per local guidelines, preferably OFTEC approved installer. Please refer to the OFTEC website for more information.

What fuel can be stored in the FuelMaster?

Suitable for: Grade A2 Gas Oil (BS2869), Grade D Gas Oil (BS2869), Diesel fuel (EN590), Paraffinic diesel fuel / HVO (EN15940), Biofuel/HVO (EN15940).

Where can I find the serial number?

FuelMaster product serial number can be found on the left to the door, it is stamped into the inner tank. It can also be found on the white barcode label placed on the outer tank.

How can I move the FuelMaster?

Please make sure the FuelMaster tank is empty before moving. Tanks can be moved carefully either using lifting points or forklift with suitable forks.
