Challenging environmental conditions at the Center Parcs premises meant that a specialist technical solution was needed. The complex was built on an area with a high water table which meant that high-performance pumping stations were required. Two Kingspan Klargester pump stations were installed as part of the groundwork of the premises. A Kingspan Klargester foul pump, situated beside the Food Court/Village area, to manage wastewater and a Kingspan Klargester pump for surface water, located beside the large pool, were chosen. The pump installed around the large pool was a bespoke design as it performed a critical role in pumping water 24/7 constantly to the nearby lake. The site’s own Building Management System monitored the performance of the pumps at all times. The pumps were installed and commissioned by the Kingspan Water & Energy Service team.
