Site Assessment Request
Book your site assessment online
Are you starting to build your new home or planning on replacing your existing sewage treatment system?
With planning laws and EPA regulations it may seem like a minefield to update or install the required waste water treatment system for your new build or refurb project, but the good news is - we can help you from start to finish. Our reports from our accredited installers offer both preliminary desk study research and onsite investigation.
The first step of the site assessment process gathers historical and other readily available information on the site conditions and surrounding areas. The preliminary site assessment includes brief details of ground conditions, ground engineering and also stability problems. The report is issued within 24 hours and is particularly useful as an initial, low cost check.
The next step is to book a site investigation that builds on the information gathered in initial findings by collecting environmental samples from areas on the site. All our pre purchase site assessment reports are prepared by installers who understand the development process and are experienced at identifying potential issues that may affect development at an early stage.
What is a percolation test?
A percolation test determines the rate of water absorption into the ground. The procedure measures how long it takes a measured amount of water to drain away from a saturated hole dug into the ground. The result determines the suitability and permeability of the soil and ensures that the ground has sufficient drainage capacity to handle the amount of water that will come from the sewage treatment plant you intend to install.
Please note: Prior to the purchase of any site, a pre purchase assessment is currently a legal requirement in Ireland.
