When the unexpected happens - we're here to help. If your sewage treatment plant or pump station overflows, or you have a leak from your hot water cylinder or oil tank, the guidance below provides key advice. Our out-of-hours support offers tips to manage emergencies and safeguard your property.
Sewage Treatment Plant or Pump Station
If you experience any of the below issues you should request an emergency visit from a local tankering company and arrange for your system to be emptied:
- The alarm on your sewage treatment plant or pump station is indicating 'High Level'.
- There is sewage or discharge emerging from your treatment plant or pump station.
- Slow or no discharge from toilets on flushing.
- There is no power to pump chambers or treatment plants for more than 24 hours.
The tankering company will dispose of your waste safely and meet all legal and environmental requirements. If you still require support from Kingspan Service, please complete the Out of Hours support form and we will get back to you within working hours.

Oil Tank
If your oil tank is leaking, please review the scenarios below and follow the recommended steps for resolution.
Scenario 1
If your oil tank is leaking at a continuous flow, you should contact your Oftec Installer and arrange for your system to be repaired.
Scenario 2 – Single Skin Tank
If your single-skin tank has a slow leak, apply household soap to temporarily seal it and then contact your local Oftec Installer for further assistance.
Scenario 3 – Bunded Tank
Your bund should be containing the leak, so please continue to monitor it closely. Contact our office using the Out of Hours Support Form, or call during working hours. If the leak worsens in the meantime, reach out to your local Oftec Installer.
